Adam Kammerling and Owen Gildersleeve originate from the Cheddar Valley. As Old Mayor, they were most active between 2005 - 2009 sharing bills with the likes of Boris, Russian Circles, Heirs, A Storm of Light, Orange Goblin and ASVA. Owen has since gone on to form another duo Modern Technology and founded the charitable record label Human Worth, whilst Adam has carved a path as a performance poet, winning the UK poetry slam championship in 2012 and releasing his celebrated debut collection 'Seder' in 2022.
